Yummy and satisfying for larger appetites

I guess I’m in the minority in saying that I love the large size of this product :) I normally would make 2 “servings” as described on box of oatmeal – or two packets from a box — so this product is perfect sizing for me! 320 calories doesn’t seem like an overly large calorie amount either. Even if you were a smaller person and only consuming 1200 calories a day, this would only be 1/4 of your daily calorie needs, and a very healthy 1/4 of your calories it would be.

This is lightweight and easy to throw in a bag and bring to work – just add boiling water, or add tap water and microwave and let steep.

I like the occasional sweetness of the cranberries and the occasional crunch of the almonds. It’s pleasant without being too sweet. It’s also got 8 grams of fiber in a cup.

If you’re trying to decide between flavors, I found this tastier than the hot apple cinnamon variety cereal from McDougall.

Best ever

I love this meusli. So easy to make and “sticks to your ribs” til lunchtime. Tasty as can be. It is awful big, and I often wonder why they make it in the bigger cups instead of the smaller sizes. Still, I usually eat half and keep the other half in the refrigerator for the next day. A spritz of water, and microwave for a minute, stir and it’s just as good as the first day.

This stuff also hits the spot when I get the munchies watching t.v. at night. It’s sweet enough to hit the sweet spot.

Absolutely delicious.

I typically hate instant oatmeal. I often slave over steel-cut varieties, because all of the instant stuff seems to be mushy and lacking in texture and taste.

This is the exception. The oatmeal is thick and has a great texture, and it is chock-full of delicious, real cranberries.

The only thing is there are over 300 calories per cup! I don’t think that the ingredients of the oatmeal are to blame; it’s because the portion it makes is pretty big! However, if you are not counting calories or if you need a filling breakfast, you’ll love this.

My New Favorite Instant Oatmeal!

Great oatmeal taste with hint of tanginess from the cranberries. Clean, classic and convenient. Perfect for on-the-go and for travel. For instant oatmeal – it’s superior. I don’t even follow the main directions to add water then microwave it; I just add hot boiled water, wait anywhere from 5-10 minutes and it’s perfect.

It’s a tad sweeter than I prefer (I tend to have a lower tolerance for sweetness than the average person), so I just add more water past the line and it still has a decently thick/gooey consistency; I just have to wait closer to 10 mins. But at least this isn’t as sweet as the Quaker Instant Oatmeal or other/generic brands.

Of the reviews that say the taste is bad; what?! I have to assume they must not like hot cereal or oatmeal to begin with…? Because I have to say I’m impressed with McDougall’s so far. It even resembles steel-cut oatmeal. Will definitely subscribe from now on.

Chewy With Super Flavors

Very tasty and nutritious, especially if left to thicken after adding boiling water or soy milk. Just the right amount of cranberries in it. No guilt because it’s got 0 fat but lots of good stuff.

This is the best muesli I have ever tried. I would buy it if it wasn’t healthy.

Great Breakfast Options

The cranberries give the oatmeal the right amount of sweet tart flavor resulting in a delicious, nutritious breakfast! By adding hot water to the marked line and allowing it to sit for 5 minutes you get a perfect ‘bowl’ of oatmeal. Enjoy!

I love this cereal for its texture, degree of sweetness (not too), flavor of the cranberries. I have it for breakfast most mornings at work. I regret that it’s a lot of calories, but then again it’s breakfast (most important meal) and it’s healthy. It is hard to find in stores so that I am grateful I can get it in bulk through Amazon.

VERY Filling!

This hot cereal is one of the best I’ve had. You get 10g of protein & 8g of Fiber. It is super filling and has a great taste. I am recommending it to anyone who will listen. Definitely worth it if your trying to lose weight or just have a quick healthy breakfast.
