Even though they are not real leather, they sure do look real. However, there is a smell that really smells artificial. I just received the boots today so I am hoping the smell goes away. So far my entire closet smells like this chemical/artificial smell. the boots themselves look nice and fit great. My only complaint about the appearance is that I wish the hardware on the back of the boots matched. The grommits for the laces are silvery while the studs on the heels are gold-tone. Overall, super cute. If I return them, it will be due to this very strong smell.
